OUR SCANDINAVIAN ROOTS

Coming back to Scandinavia after 12 years in New York I was blown away by the wisdom and clarity of the people up North. There is something absolutely magic about their approach to life, their way of working, way of socializing and the social structure that encourages everyone to explore the world and grow as human beings.

Inspired by this I decided to travel around the Scandinavian countries to see if I could hook up with leaders, visionaries, enthusiasts, experts, who could teach the world this magic way of living. And sure enough! I found them! Became friends with them. Initiated projects with them. And fell in love with them. Each and every one.

Together with these amazing individuals I'm determined to bring some common Scandinavian sense into this world…or as we like to call it: common zense!

"The Scandinavians possess a natural curiosity for the world and its wisdom,
a connection to the outdoor and mother earth that grounds us
and a lifelong hunger for knowledge and desire to evolve.
That's what makes them magic!"

Our mission:
  • We want to bring Scandinavian leaders to the world so that everyone can experience from the Scandinavian wisdom and clarity.
  • We want to bring visionaries of the world to Scandinavia so that the citizens of Scandinavia can continue to grow and make great changes to this world (more great music, more great design, more great technology…)
  • We want to put Scandinavia on the map as the undisputed feel-great mecca of the world.

How would the Scandinavian way change you as a person?
  • Which classes would you take if you lived in a country where education was free?
  • Would you explore the world if you got 5-6 weeks paid vacation a year?
  • Would you reflect on what you really wanted out of life during a 16 months paid maturnity leave?
  • Would you have a more balanced lifestyle if you lived in a country where your employer actively encouraged you to exercise, travel and be a lifelong learner?
  • How would your community change if half of your parliament was made up of female politicians?
  • Would you explore alternative medicine if healthcare was free in your country?
  • Would you stay more true to your beliefs if you weren’t afaid of loosing your job?
  • Would you have pursued your dreams if you knew the government would help you out if it didn’t work out?
